Hello, Parents!
I hope this note finds you all well!
I just spoke to the student body this morning about something VERY exciting – Homecoming 2010 – to be held the weekend of September 24th and 25th. It’s a wonderful tradition here at McAuley, and I’m happy to share this information with you and extend a warm invitation in the hopes that you’ll join us.
Attached, you’ll find a schedule of events for Friday and Saturday, the 24th and 25th. The weekend features everything from tailgating and football to athletic competitions and dancing. The best part is that it draws the community together, showcasing our true McAuley pride!
To help you understand the dynamics of Homecoming just a little more, the Admissions Office has assigned parent liaisons for each class to act as point people for questions and planning purposes. These individuals are:
Freshmen: Mandi Coulombe, mother of Lauren ’14 and Alexa ’12 – acoulombe@maine.rr.com
Sophomores: Mary Rollo, mother of Katie Profenno ’13 – mrollo3@aol.com
Juniors: Colleen DiPierro, mother of Sadie ’12 – colleen.dipierro@myfairpoint.net
Seniors: Monica Cormier, mother of Hannah ‘11 – bomoha@msn.com
Although each liaison will send an email out to her respective class by the close of this week, feel free to contact these individuals if you have any questions in the meantime. Freshman parents – this is a new adventure for you! Mandi and I will try our best to walk you through it!
We look forward to seeing you at this amazing McAuley celebration! Thank you, again, for all that you do for McAuley, and for the gift of your beautiful daughters.
With thanks –
Ericka Sanborn
P.S. Since our Powder Puff Football game will be held under the lights, we are in need of a parent (or two) to assist in the pick-up and return of four stadium lights. If you have a trailer and standard ball hitch and are able to assist us, kindly let us know. Thank you in advance!
